Our first priority is the health and welfare of our greyhounds. We do not cut corners
or save any expense when it comes to their safety and wellbeing. Greyhound racing is extremely competitive; often places are
separated by hundredths of seconds over 550 yards. They blaze out of the box and head into turn one at 40+ mph. Therefore,
it is extremely important that the greyhound is mentally, as well as physically fit. We have found many respectable and honorable
associates in the greyhound racing industry. We love our greyhounds and give them the best care available.
With this in mind Shenandoah Greyhound Racing, Inc. searches for
select, quality greyhounds based on pedigree and performance. This is a formidable task in a very competitive industry. There
are numerous ways to purchase greyhounds (at tattoo, before they go to school, while they are in school, track ready, and
even once they are at the track).
